Portable Restrooms Archives | Gray Brothers Septic & Portable Restroom Services

If you have been in the Chester County area for a while, you know that April in Manayunk means one thing: the StrEAT Food Festival.

On Sunday, April 19, from 11 AM to 5 PM, Main Street will transform into a foodie paradise with over 50 of the region’s best food trucks, live music on two stages, and local vendors lining the historic streets.

Whether you are a festival veteran or a first-timer, there is a lot to see and eat. To help you make the most of it, we have put together a quick survival guide so you can spend less time in lines and more time enjoying the day.

1. New This Year: The Family Friendly Area @ Lock St

If you are bringing the kids, make Lock St your home base. This year features a dedicated kids’ bounce house, face painting from 11 AM to 3 PM, and activities with the Friends of Roxborough Library. It is a great spot to take a breather away from the main hustle of Main Street.

2. Map Your “Must-Eats”

With everything from savory BBQ to gourmet desserts, it is easy to get overwhelmed. We recommend doing a quick lap first to see the full lineup before committing. Most trucks are cash-friendly, but having some on hand will save you a trip to the ATM.

3. Look for Gray Brothers

At an event this size, the facilities usually become an afterthought until you really need them.

Gray Brothers is proud to be the official partner for the StrEAT Food Festival this year. We have been handling the dirty work for local events since 1929 and our goal is to make sure your festival experience is as seamless as possible.

4. Logistics: Rain or Shine! 🌦️

The festival is happening regardless of the weather. Wear comfortable shoes (those Main Street cobblestones are no joke) and consider taking the SEPTA Manayunk/Norristown Line to avoid the parking scramble.

It might be chilly outside right now, but at the Gray Brothers office, we are already thinking about graduation parties, wedding season, and spring construction kickoffs. If you have a major project or event on the horizon for 2026, January is officially “Logistics Month.”

Inventory Moves Fast
Our Luxury Restroom Trailers—featuring climate control, high-end finishes, and flushing toilets—are the first items to be claimed on our calendar. For local brides and event planners, waiting until the flowers start to bloom usually means the best units are already gone.

Construction Kickoff
For our partners in the building trades, March is just around the corner. Securing your site units, ADA-compliant restrooms, and OSHA-mandated handwash stations in January ensures that your crew has what they need the day you break ground.

Talk to Joe
When it comes to portable restrooms, one size does not fit all. That’s why we encourage our customers to Talk to Joe. Joe is in the office this month specifically to help you navigate your 2026 requirements.

By locking in your dates now, you get peace of mind and the guaranteed inventory you need for a successful 2026. Talk to Joe today to reserve your 2026 dates. Call 610-644-2800 or check out our products here.
